THE
BEAR MINISTRY
The
church pews have Bears and Bear Wanna-Be's sitting in them. People
of the church brought these stuffed Bears and Bear Wanna-Be's
(those are cats, dogs, rabbits, etc.) to the Bear Ranger, who
ties tags on the toy animals, and places them around the Sanctuary.
The tag says the Bear has been among the congregation of First
United Methodist Church of Onalaska, Onalaska , TX . It has heard
the Word read, prayers prayed, songs of praise sung and the sermon
preached. It has been given love and loved others. Now it comes
to you with the blessings of worship and God's love. People take
and send Bears and Bear Wanna-be's to family, friends and strangers
who need to know the Church is praying for them and that God loves
them.
